Guadalupe (Lupe) Castillo

Guadalupe (Lupe) Castillo, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.

A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel recited by Maria Aguirre.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Guadalupe was born on February 20, 1944 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a homemaker, and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish. She was a lifelong resident of Sweetwater.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Castillo of Sweetwater, Texas, Sylvia Castillo and husband Ambrocio Rosales and Lucinda Flores and husband George, all of San Angelo, Texas, sister, Connie Heredia of Sweetwater, Texas, twelve grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Castillo, parents, Jacinto and Maria Martinez, sister, Alice Palafox, and brother, Benjamin Martinez.

Pallbearers will be Javier Murillo, Jr., John Castillo, Estan Rosales, Daniel Medellin, Cristino Alva, Jr. and Lance Brockman.
