Mohamed Said Zaky

Mohamed Said Zaky, age 66, of The Colony, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Hospital in Plano, Texas.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Wayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Mohamed was born on October 17, 1951 in Cairo, Egypt to Saeed Hussein and Fatima Mahmoud Hassan Zaky. He graduated from Military Technical College of Cairo in Cairo, Egypt, He received his B. S. in Electrical Engineering and B.S. in Military Sciences. He worked as a computer analyst for Celerity. He served in the Egyptian Air Force as a programmer analyst. He married Margarett (Margie) Geron on February 14, 1983 in Dallas County, Texas.

He is survived by his daughter, Diana Zaky of Carrollton, Texas, son, Adam Zaky of The Colony, Texas, brother, Ehab Saeed Hussein Zaky, and sister, Iman Saeed Hussein Zaky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, - Margarett (Margie) Zaky, and sister Magda Saeed Hussein Zaky.
