Sharon (Pugh) Butts

Sharon Butts, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her residence.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Mike Sells officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM. Monday at the funeral home.

Sharon was born March 4, 1943 to Aubra Lee Pugh and Lyda B. (Howell) Pugh in Sweetwater, Texas. She married Richard Butts on December 18, 1965 in Sweetwater, Tx.. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker and caregiver for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Doss of Sweetwater, Tx; and Tracey Kendrick of Sweetwater, Tx.; one son Richard Butts, Jr. of Sweetwater, Tx; two sisters, Charlotte Ransberger of Sweetwater, Tx; and Beverly Kerby of Sachse, Tx. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Aubra Doss, Tisha Reeh, Chris Doss, Jerrod Doss, Sammy Pierce and Michael Requejo, and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lee Carroll Pugh and Billy Wayne Pugh.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1651 Pine Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
