Sharon Kay (Worsham) Ryan

Sharon Kay Ryan, age 68, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Dr. Chris Stephens officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Sharon was born on June 12, 1949 in Sweetwater, Texas to A. T. and A. Oleta (Hammons) Worsham. She was a homemaker and also worked as a cashier at Pinkie's. She was a Baptist. She loved to play cards with her dear friends.

She is survived by her father, A.T. Worsham of Abilene, Texas, two sons, David Alexander Ryan and wife Stephanie of Hawley, Texas, and James Ryan, Jr. and wife Gail of Abilene, Texas, four grandchildren, Alexander , Brandon , Kaylee , and Madison , sister, Alma Cross of Abilene, Texas, nieces and nephews, including Paul Cross, and great nephew, Caleb Cross and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Oleta Worsham, and brother, Tony Worsham.
