Wanda Elaine (May) Gonzales

Wanda Elaine Gonzales, age 66 ,of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away, Monday, January 14, 2019 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Sweetwater Cemetery with family members officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Wanda was born January 5, 1953 in Houston, Texas to William Douglas May and Marjorie Elaine McMahon. Wanda was a lifetime resident of Sweetwater, Texas and a graduate of Sweetwater High School and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband George Gonzales, daughter, Lisa Gonzales, two grandsons, Devin Gutierrez and J. P. Gutierrez. one sister Carol Bronson and husband Keith of Abilene, Tx;, five brothers Douglas May and wife Gloria of Midland, Tx; David May and wife Susan of Lubbock, Tx; Wesley May and wife Dryden of Austin, Tx; Jeffrey May and Bette of Idaho, and Bradley May and wife Mary of Austin, Tx. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Douglas May and Marjorie Elaine May, two sisters, Martha Nazworth, and Janet Maxwell and nephew, Jeremy Maxwell.
