Daniel "Pato" Vasquez

Daniel "Pato" Vasquez, age 76, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated. No services are planned. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Daniel was born on October 13, 1940 in Sweetwater, Texas to Felipe and Juanita (Torres) Vasquez. He married Roma Joan Edwards on January 7, 1963 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a Catholic. He worked for Exxon Mobil as a service specialist mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Roma Joan Vasquez of Sweetwater, Texas, two daughters, April Denise Vasquez of Sweetwater, Texas, and Toni J. Lerma and husband Theodore of Lytle, Texas, two sisters, Petra Adames of Sweetwater, Texas, Elena Hernandez and husband Ruben of Denver, Colorado, brother-in-law, Joe Valdez of Sweetwater, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Juanita Vasquez, brother, Felipe Vasquez, Jr., sister, Rita Valdez, three nephews, Armando Vasquez, James Vasquez, and Ruben Hernandez, Jr. and his beloved daughter, Lisa Dawn Vasquez.
