Maria Guadalupe (Torres) Gloria

Maria Guadalupe Gloria, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Calvaria Baptisto Church with Rev. Raul Ortiz officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 6:00 - 7:00 P.M..

Maria was born December 9, 1942 in Durango, Mexico to Camelio and Maria (Vasquez) Torres. She worked as a housekeeper for many years before retiring. She married Juan Gloria on July 1, 1961 in Acuna, Mexico. She was a member of Calvaria Baptisto Church. She was a resident of Sweetwater since 1961.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Gloria of Sweetwater, Texas, three sons, Michael Gloria of Sweetwater, Texas, John Gloria and wife Rita of Cameron, North Carolina, Joe Gloria and wife Mindy of Fort Worth, Texas, seven grandchildren, John Gloria, Jr., Michael Gloria, Devon Gloria, Dylan Gloria, Joseph Gloria, Bryan Gloria, and Caelen Gloria and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, and two brothers and two sisters.
