Betty Sue Rawlings, age 75, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Baker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Betty was born on February 21, 1937 in Nolan County, Texas to Ernest Leonard and Elois (Allan) Foust. She worked as a sub-contractor for many years before retiring. .
She is survived by one son, Ricky Reed and wife Patricia of Sweetwater, Texas; three daughters, Patricia Luevano and husband Daniel; Joanna Stevens and husband Randal; and Lisa Griffith and husband Richard, all of Sweetwater, Texas; three sisters, Louise Rawlings of Sweetwater, Texas , Ruby Fitzpatrick of Roby, Texas; and Carol Brewer of Roscoe, Texas; one brother, Ernest Foust of Avinger, Texas; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Leonard and Elois Foust; husbands, Melvin Edward Reed and Johnny Rawlings; two sisters, Vernell Salyer and Geraldine Harrell and one brother, Bill Foust.
