Brent Channing Boiles was born April 19, 1993 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He passed away at his parents' home in Sweetwater July 2, 2025.
Brent was an avid fan of baseball and played the game as a gifted left-handed pitcher and first baseman. Brent had the creative ability to draw animals, still-life, cameos, and various caricatures patterned after the famous artist, Bob Ross. He also contructed a breakfast table and small furniture items for his mom. He repurposed many trash items into colorful yard art. With the help of his dad, he designed and put together an authentic pitcher's mound, where he spent many hours perfecting his pitch. One of his most prized possessions was a long board which he designed and built from his own blueprints.
Brent is survived by his parents Donnie and Sherry Boiles of Sweetwater. His older brothers Brian Boiles and wife Jamie of North Zulch and Brice Boiles of Dallas. His grandmother "Meme" Joan Menn and grandfather "Papaw" R.L. Boiles of Sweetwater. His uncles Woodrow Menn and wife Julie of Denton and Jeff Menn of Sweetwater, his aunt Melinda Dalton and husband Paul of Sweetwater. His nephew Brady Boiles and niece Cambree Boiles both of North Zulch. Cousins David Dalton of Austin, Joey Dalton of Sweetwater, Kasey Menn of Farmers Branch and Andrew Menn of Euless.
Brent was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Menn, grandmother Patsy Boiles and cousin Dossie Menn.
Pallbearers will be Brian Boiles, Brice Boiles, Woodrow Menn, Jeff Menn, David Dalton and Joey Dalton.
A private graveside will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Garden of Memories with Dr. J.T. Thornton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
