C. H. Campbell, age 93, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 25, 2011 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
C. H. Campbell was born May 25, 1917 in Palava, Texas to Walter P. and Ethel F. Campbell. He was a Baptist. He worked for T & P Railway for many years before retiring.
He married Jewel F. Stone on August 26, 1939 in Roby, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel F. Campbell of Sweetwater, Texas; son, Clovis Campbell and wife Carolyn of Sweetwater, Texas; six grandchildren, Matt Campbell, Melissa Campbell, Craig Campbell, Lisa Squires, Leane Robinson and Lori Robinson; ten great grandchildren; sister, Inel Cunningham of Maud, Texas and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter P. and Ethel F. Campbell; daughter, Sharon Hart, one brother and four sisters.
