Christine Gossett, age 91, of Sweetwater, Texas died Wednesday, April 28, 2010

at her residence.

Her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday,

May 1, 2010 at Highland Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris

Rodriguez officiating under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

She was born September 21, 1918 in Lebanon , Kentucky .

She was a resident of Sweetwater for thirty five years coming from Manhatten Beach ,

California . She worked for Revel, Inc. as a machine operator for many years before

retiring. In her younger years, she loved bowling, gardening and welcoming people

to her home.

She is survived by her husband – James E. Gossett of Sweetwater , Texas ; Son and

Daughter-in-Law – Ron and Diane Greenwell of Sandia Park , New Mexico ; Daughter

and Partner – Mickie West and Maureen McDonnell of Eugene , Oregon ; Daughter –

Darlene Virden of Albuquerque , New Mexico ; (10) Grandchildren and (14) Great

Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Son – Douglas Greenwell on May 5, 1979 ,

her parents – Otis and Birdie Comer, (2) Sisters and (4) Brothers, all of Kentucky .
