David Lesley Lincoln, age 77, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Sterling Hills Rehab.
His body was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at Naval Air Station at Pensacola, Florida. Also a private memorial service will be held at Fort Stanton New Mexico Veteran's Cemetery. Local arrangements by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
David was born on June 23, 1948 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to Donald W. and Marion Elizabeth (Smith) Lincoln. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as a electrician for Lincoln Electric for many years before retiring. David loved riding his motorcycle through the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico with his wife, camping out along the way and renting jeeps to take the high country back roads.
He is survived by his son, Gabriel Lincoln of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Garrett, Samuel, Emma, and Aubry Lincoln; brother, Donald R. Lincoln and wife Nancy of Ruidoso, New Mexico; brother-in-law, Steve Broker of Roscoe, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don W. and Marion Lincoln and his sister, Delores Ann Broker.
