Diana was born on May 24, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, and spent most of her life in Sweetwater, Texas, where she built a life centered around family, friendship, and love.

Diana was a true free spirit with a heart big enough for everyone she met. She was loving, caring, and never met a stranger. To know Diana was to instantly feel welcomed by her. She had a special way of turning friends into family, including with her own children, who cherished not only her love as a mother but also the friendship they shared with her.

She found joy in life’s simple things - tending to her plants, keeping up with her favorite soap operas, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her laughter, kindness, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Diana’s love, warmth, and spirit will live on through her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched along the way.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Geen Cherry; her son, Ken Holcomb and wife Christina Holcomb, along with their children Ethan, Spencer, Kayson, and Delilah; daughter, Alishia Davis and husband Terry Davis, along with their children Landon Mulanax and John Davis; daughter, Shela Harris and husband Eli Harris, along with their children Maddox and Elex; and daughter, Danna Holcomb and children Elias Duran, Byron, Aryah, and Lason.

She is also survived by her stepchildren: Geena Oreb and husband Damien Oreb, along with children Gazmen McIntosh, Angelina McIntosh, and Douglas McIntosh; Genea Cook and husband Joe Cook, along with children Teegan, Wrenley, and Ryatt; Gynelle Cherry and fiance Andrew Stancook, along with son Brayden Chance; and Gewel Cherry and daughter Gracelynn Saathoff.

Diana was preceded in death by the father of her children, Kenneth Holcomb; her sister, Debora Messer; and her parents, Robert and Grace Coriell.
