Donald Herbert Beckwith, Jr.

Donald Herbert Beckwith, Jr., age 44, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ  with Rev. Mike Sells officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Donald was born on September 21, 1973 in Rhinebeck, New York. He married Betty Hyatt on December 17, 2004 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a construction worker, working for Mahaffey Construction, Coe Construction and other companies. He was a hard worker. Donald suffered a stroke a month ago and the Lord called him home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Beckwith of Sweetwater, Texas, daughter, Destiny Beckwith of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Alexander Beckwith of Syracruse, New York, parents, Karen Lang and husband Michael of New York State, Don Beckwith and wife Cherrie of Pennsylvania, and aunt, Betti Lucas of New York.
