Dorothy Louise (Crocker) Kuykendall

Dorothy Louise (Crocker) Kuykendall, age 83, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Sterling Hills Rehab and Healthcare Center.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 26, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M..

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. J.T. Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born on March 21, 1942 in Kosse, Texas to David Leithen Crocker, Sr. and Ida Lucille (Kent) Crocker. She married Donald Ray (Red) Kuykendall on March 1, 1969 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a self-employed beautician for many years before retiring. She was a longtime resident of Sweetwater, Texas and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Thomas and Danny Frazier of Sweetwater, Texas; sons, Donald Kuykendall, Jr. and wife Kristi of Dover, Florida, and Richard Sikes and fiance Jeanne Anglemyer of Sweetwater, Texas; seven grandchildren, Christi, Christine, Crystal, Richard Jr., Christopher, Charles and Lauren; numerous great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leithen and Ida Crocker, husband, Donald Ray Kuykendall, brother, David Crocker, sister, Pearlie "Polly" Putnam, and great great grandson, Adan James Castor.

Pallbearers will be Codie Perry, Gabe Perry, Jack Isbell, Matthew Wofford, Charles Thomas, and Christopher Thomas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Sikes, Jr. and Tristan Isbell.
