Edward (Eddy) Eugene Dutch

Edward (Eddy) Eugene Dutch, age 6, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

His body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Edward was born on July 26, 2019 in Sweetwater, Texas to Jeremy Neal Dutch and Destiney Catherine Chappell. He was a first grade student at East Ridge Elementary School.

He is survived by his mother, Destiney Chappell, father, Jeremy Dutch; brothers, Jaime Dutch, Jathin Sheehey, and Levi Dutch, sister, Eileen Dutch; and grandmother, Rebecca Chappell.
