Isabel (Gabby) Bustamante

Isabel (Gabby) Bustamante, age 31, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

A prayer service will be held 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M. recited by Deacon David Mendez.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Deacon Bill Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Isabel was born on April 14, 1994 in Vernon, Texas to Oscar Bustamante and Carolina Ramos. She was a 2006 graduate of Hobbs. She was the valedictorian of her class. Isabel was a beautiful daughter, mother and sister. She was outgoing, loving and strong willed. She was a warrior and a fighter. She will be missed but never forgotten.

She is survived by her father, Oscar Bustamante and wife Carrie; mother, Carolina Ramos; son, Stephen Salazar, Jr.; daughters, Azalynn Salazar, and Avalynn Salazar; sisters, Abigail Bustamante, Briana Bustamante, Angelina Bustamante, Elicia Bustamante, and Adriana Bustamante; brother, Zeythian Ramos; Grandparents, Hector and Eva Bustamante, Ignacio Bustamante, and Martin Nunez; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Zeythian Ramos, Oscar Bustamante, Hector Garcia, Michael Carrasco, P.J. Salinas, and Jacob Carrasco.
