James E. Harrell, age 55, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Hendrick Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
James was born April 7, 1955 to John H. and Winnie Lou (Harris) Harrell. He worked as a machine operator at U.S. Gypsum for many years. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Harrell and wife Luisa of Sweetwater, Texas; and Jeremy Harrell of Austin, Texas; two daugthers, Michelle Harrell and fiance James Beck of Abilene, Texas; and Carlee Harrell of Sweetwater, Texas; seven grandchildren, Bella Harrell, Aaron Hoover, Soli Harrell, Brandon Harrell, Alissa Harrell, Logan Beck, and Bryan Harrell; one brother, Mike Harrell and wife Ann of Roby, Texas; ex-wife, Gail Harrell of Sweetwater, TX; step-mother, Gay Nell Harrell of Roscoe, Texas; four step-sisters; and one step-brother, Blake Westbrook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Harrell and Winnie Lou Harrell; his grandparents, Edgar and Maud Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Naz Harrell.
