Jerry Leonard Gailis, age 81, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on July 5, 2025 at his residence.
Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A private burial of his cremains were held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Jerry was born on November 17, 1943 in Sweetwater, Texas to Leonard and Mavis Maureen (Penton) Gailis. He worked as a salesman in Houston, Texas before retiring. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by several friends.
