Jessie Mae Jennings , age 97, of Sweetwater, Texas died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010

at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital .

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 17, 2010 at Mt. Rose Baptist

Church with Rev. William Jackson officiating assisted by Rev. Tommy Jackson. Burial

will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer

and Trent Funeral Home.

She was born October 19, 1912 in Oakwood , Texas . She married Abbie Lee Jennings

on June 24, 1938 in Snyder , Texas . She was a charter member of Mt. Rose Baptist Church .

She is survived by (2) daughters – Doris Jackson and husband William of Anson , Texas ;

and Otha Jennings Hearn and husband Herman of Dallas , TX ; (1) son – Willard Jennings

of Sweetwater , Texas ; (12) grandchildren; (19) great grandchildren; and (1) great great

grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents – J.W. and Melinda Davis; her husband – Abbie Lee

Jennings ; and (2) daughters – Joyce Samuels and Ruby Jackson.
