Lamoin Collier, age 70, of Inadale, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 3, 2011 at Loraine Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Lamoin was born on May 30, 194l in Loraine, Texas to John E. and Eula Arpe Collier. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a farmer and rancher, also worked at the Claytonville Gas Plant, and was a Correctional Officer before retiring. He married Charlotte Pilgrim in 1971 in Snyder, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Collier of Inadale, Texas; two sons, Laramie & Angie Collier of Sweetwater, Texas; and Joel & Julie Collier of Ballinger, Texas; and one daughter, Misty & Laren Shaw of Las Cruces, New Mexico; seven grandchildren; Leonardo , Angellica , Cody , Cheyenne , Cayden , and Caysen Collier and Shawna Shaw; one sister, Norma Jean Bryan of Ballinger, Texas; and one brother, Chester & Beverly Collier of Harriet, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bethel Collier; his parents, John and Eula Collier; and one grandson, Connor Shaw.
