Lenore Ann Rakes, age 76, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Parkview Skill Care & Rehab in Big Spring, Texas.
Per her wishes, her body will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Lenore was born on November 25, 1949 in Sweetwater, Texas to Seth Levi Rakes and Anita Belle (Lowery) Rakes. She was a self-employed author and writer. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by friends, Channin and Cory Vandiver of Big Spring, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Seth and Anita Rakes.
