Lily May Rhoton, age 77, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Clower officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Lily was born on October 6, 1935 in Sweetwater, Texas to Lee and Jewel (McLaughlin) Giesler. She married John Rhoton. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and also worked for the The Village Grocery Store as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Randy Rhoton and wife Sherry of Costa Rica; daughter, Roxy Rhoton of Sweetwater, Texas; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Jewel Giesler; husband, John Rhoton; grandson, Michael Lee McDonald; one sister and three brothers.
