Lois Barber, age 94, of Sweetwater, Texas formerly of Sacramento, California passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Her wishes were to be cremated. Her family will hold a service at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Lois was born August 19, 1918 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to William M. and Pearl (Spangler) Brady. She marrried Victor Barber on August 28, 1935 in Kissimmee Park, Florida. She was a devoted homemaker and a Christian.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty McHaley Snider of Taos, New Mexico; Lois Jean Wise of Seminole, Texas; and Casey Cowin of Sweetwater, Texas; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Pearl Brady; husband, Victor Barber; daughter, Carol Barber.
