Lorene Mulanax, age 85, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Saturday,

November 6, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 8, 2010 at

Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Stephens

officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery .

Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Lorene was born on May 3, 1925 in Ballinger, Texas . She worked for Holiday

Inn Restaurant as a waitress and floor supervisor for many years before

retiring.

She married Harley Sheridan Mulanax on May 14, 1949 in Sweetwater , Texas .

She is survived by two sons – Sammy Wise and wife Ann of Kempner , Texas

and Keith Mulanax of Sweetwater , Texas , one daughter – Janace Bailey and

husband James of Sweetwater , TX ; step-sons – Hoyt Mulanax and wife Cora of

Sweetwater , TX , Billy Mulanax of Pueblo , Colorado , and Jesse Lee Mulanax

and wife Pat of Lake Sweetwater , TX ; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren,

one great great grandchild, numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren,

and two sisters – Lela Hammer of San Angelo , TX , and Velma Milkie of San Angelo ,

Texas .

She was preceded in death by her parents – Sammie and Polly Jackson, husband –

Harley Sheridan Mulanax, brother – Milton Jackson, and sisters – Laura Cunningham,

Sammie L. Richardson and Loudell Jackson.
