Manuel Sustaita, Sr.

Manuel Sustaita, Sr., age 88, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Sterling Hills Rehab.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Manuel was born on December 26, 1931 in Seguin, Texas to Senaido and Verginia (Villareal) Sustaita. He married Maria Campa on May 2, 1958. He was baptised as a Jehovah Witness. He worked as an oilfield worker for many years before retiring.

He is survived by two sons, Manuel Sustaita, Jr. and wife Lillie of Sweetwater, Texas, and Walter Sustaita and wife Sandy of Floresville, Texas, daughter, Elpidia Resendiz of Enid, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Ernest Sustaita, Amy Hernandez, Roxanne Hartrum, Maria Sustaita Rivera, Walter Sustaita, Jr. Timothy Sustaita, Jacob Sustaita, Jennifer Cordoza, Helena Camacho, Anthony Alvardo, Nia Sustaita and Thalia Sustaita, and fourteen great grandchildren.
