Margie Faye (Neal) Harris, loving wife, mother, Nana and friend, passed away May 14, 2025 at the age of 73, surrounded by her family.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Roscoe Cemetery with Associate Pastor Phillip Litton officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Margie was born on August 26, 1951 in Baird, Texas to the late Robert Athen and Margie Geneva (Williams) Neal. She married the love of her life, Chester Thomas Harris on March 10, 1968, in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a Christian. She worked for many years on the management team at Walls Industries and concluded her career at Ludlums Measurements as a production control clerk, retiring in 2016. The role she excelled at most was being a completely devoted daughter, wife, mother and nana.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Thomas Harris of Sweetwater, Texas; two daughters, Amy Nance and husband James of Baltimore, Maryland, and Betty Catherman and husband Nick of Horseshoe Bay, Texas. She has three grandchildren, Jessica (Nance) Allen, Austin Catherman, and Lauren Elizabeth Catherman. She was blessed with two great grandchildren, Griffin Wildey and Deacon Allen. Also surviving are her siblings, Miles Neal of Roscoe, Texas, Paul Neal, and Randy Neal.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, James Neal and Glennia Sue Jernigan and grandson, James Coty Nance.
