Martin Gomez, Jr., age 57, of Colorado City, Texas passed away on Saturday,

October 2, 2010 at Mitchell County Hospital .

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at

Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Rodriguez

officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction

of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Martin was born May 1, 1953 in Sweetwater, Texas to Martin and Henrietta Gomez.

He was a Catholic. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife – Edwina Silva of Colorado City , Texas ; six daughters –

Bridgette Ramon of San Angelo , TX , Stephanie Frizzell and Bianca Daniel, both

of Sweetwater , Texas , Liza Gomez, Victoria Limones, and Junell Ruth, all of Colorado

City, Texas ; two sons – Ricky Silva and Robert Silva, both of Colorado City , Texas ;

fifteen grandchildren; and one brother – Andy Gomez of Sweetwater , Texas and

mother-in-law – Elmira Collins of Sweetwater , Texas .

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Limones, Thomas Mcgough, John Anthony, Ricky

Silva, Lupe Soliz, and Robert Silva.
