Mary Gauna Lozano

Mary Gauna Lozano, age 87, of Hurst, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Associate Pastor Phillip Litton officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Mary was born on September 22, 1937 in Sweetwater, Texas to Candido and Florinda (Gonzales) Gauna. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She worked as a housekeeper and nanny for many years before retiring. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Isabel Lozano of Hurst, Texas; two step-daughters, Rachel Bailey of Roby, Texas and Rosalie Munoz of Greenwood, Indiana; eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Candido & Florinda Gauna; sons, Martin Lozano and Vince Lozano; daughter, Josie Lozano; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Rudy Flores, Jr., Geo Ornelas, Isaac Cardenas, Rudy Flores, III, Eric Bailey, and James Gauna.
