Nancy R. Meneses, age 54, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2012 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home chapel recited by Maria Acuna.
Holy Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Okonkwo officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Nancy was born on October 27, 1957 in Bakersfield, California to Benny and Loyce (Rodriguez) Meneses. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her parents, Benny & Loyce R. Meneses, brother, Mark Meneses and wife Reneigh, sister, Anna M. Underwood and husband George, all of Sweetwater, Texas; nieces and nephews, Crystal Meneses, Madison Meneses, Rhylee Meneses and Markus Meneses; several aunts and uncles, including Nestor Torres, Manuel Solis, Jova Olguin, Cruz Ybarra, Jesse Meneses and Eva & Pete Venegas; and several cousins, including, Rosie Torres, Gloria Nava, and Odelia.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Meneses, and grandparents, Anita & Nick Rodriguez, and Cleofas and Ventura Meneses.
Pallbearers will be Mark Meneses, Eddie Torres, Henry Ortega, Jr., Pete Venegas, Jr., Sammy Romero and Joe Romero.
