Rayetta Kay Dorman, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Roscoe, Texas.
Her wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Rayetta was born on December 18, 1962 in Snyder, Texas to Arnold Ray and Reta Christine (Arnold) Dorman. She was a 1981 graduate of Sweetwater High School. She worked at the Abilene Zoo for many years as a maintenance supervisor. She was a Christian.
She is survived by her brother, Wayne Dorman of Sweetwater, Texas; God Sister & Her Family - Annett Bromley of Roscoe, Texas; God Son - Steven Rains of Roscoe, Texas; sister-in-law, Dana Curry of Sweetwater, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Ray and Reta Dorman; two brothers, Robby Dorman and Chris Dorman.
