Robert (Bob) F. Teague

Robert (Bob) F. Teague, age 86, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Hendrick Hospice Care Center in Abilene, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Pastor James Flores officiating. Burial will follow with the Dyess Air Force Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Robert Franklin Teague was born on May 11, 1939 in Greenville, Texas to Marvin Franklin Teague and Lessie Elizabeth (Taylor) Teague. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving his country proudly. He was a Baptist. He loved his family dearly and loved to spoil his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob was a hardworker, working five and a half days a week up until March of 2025. He loved to play golf and played up until the last few years. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Brannan and husband Andy of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren, Robert Brannan and wife Laura of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Rochelle Jones and husband David, of Texarkana, Arkansas; great grandchildren, Arianna Bartley, Benjamin Bartley, Adalyn Bartley and one on the way, Eliza Kathlynn (Ellie) Brannan; and sister, Dolores Allen and husband Dwight of Sweetwater, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Franklin Teague, and Lessie E. (Taylor) Teague, son, Larry Duane (Sonny) Teague, and infant son, David Franklin Teague.
