Roger Lee Clark

Roger Lee Clark, age 80, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center surrounded by his family.

His wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Roger was born on January 27, 1945, in Daviston, Alabama to Lee Roy and Emma Dean (Easterwood) Clark. He worked as a truck driver for Schilli Transportation before retiring. He served in the National Guard for many years. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his son, David Lee Clark and wife Melissa of Sweetwater, Texas; step-daughter, Jessica Orozco and husband Lee of Sweetwater, Texas; brother, Terry Clark and wife Diane of Champion, Texas: two sisters, Robbie Raymer and husband Craig and JoAnne Hickson and husband Danny, all of Sweetwater, Texas; son-in-law, David Kamer of Sweetwater, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy Clark and Emma Clark Kocks; wife, Barbara (Heidi) Clark; two sons, Timothy Clark and Matthew Clark; daughter, Beverly D. Kamer; grandson, James David Kamer; sister, Beverly Joan Clark; and two step-daughters, Petra Wallace and Jennifer Cunningham.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sweetwater Healthcare Center and Alpha Omega Hospice for their wonderful care of Roger.
