Andrew Sosa, Jr.

Andrew Sosa, Jr., age 44, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away in an automobile accident on Tuesday, December 6, 2022  in Coleman County, Texas.  

A prayer service will be held at 6:30 P.M., on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M.,  recited by Deacon David Mendez.  

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Andrew was born on June 2, 1978 in Colorado City, Texas to Andrew Sosa, Sr. and Gloria (Sanchez) Sosa.  He married Lou Ann Zamora on September 5, 1994 in Snyder, Texas, He worked as a chef for many years.  He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Zamora of Sweetwater, Texas, daughter, Madison Sosa of Sweetwater, Texas, parents, Andrew Sosa, Sr. and wife Donna of Snyder, Texas and Gloria Sosa of Sweetwater, Texas, sisters, Delores Rodriguez and husband Jacob of Snyder, Texas, Julie Ortiz and husband Johnny of Arlington, Texas, and Adrianna Sosa of Snyder, Texas, brother, Adrian Sosa and wife Chelsea of Midland, Texas, grandmother, Modesta Sanchez of Hermleigh, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

Pallbearers will be Eric Romero, Daniel Olguin, Sean Powell, Juan Sanchez, Joe Puentes, and Chad Pierce. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Rodriguez, John Michael Ortiz, Eryn Ortiz, and Allison Rodriguez.
