Arnulfo O. Orozco

Arnulfo O. Orozco, age 73, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.  

A prayer service will be held 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M., recited by Deacon David Mendez.  

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Rev. Michael Udegbunam officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  

Arnulfo was born on May 22, 1949 in Poteet, Texas to Remigio and Olivia Ontiveros Orozco.  He married Beatrice Nunez on June 26, 1969 in Angleton, Texas.  He was a Catholic.  He worked in construction for many years for  various companies including  Charles Burnett.  He loved his family.  

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Orozco of Sweetwater, Texas, five daughters, Rosemary Ortega and husband Jorge of Taylor, Texas, Debbie Cruces and husband Emilio of Taylor, Texas, Ramona Abrigo of Kerrville, Texas, Gloria Arredondo and husband Rudy of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tina Gonzales and husband Rudy of Sweetwater, Texas, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister, Carmen Medina of Sweetwater, Texas and brother, Juan Orozco of Sweetwater, Texas.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Remigio and Olivia Orozco.   

Pallbearers will be Tim Martinez, Lupe Cantu, Rick Castro, Errbey Galindo, Oscar Hernandez, and Jonathan Ortega. 

Honorary pallbearer will be Emilio Cruces, Jr.
