Becky Marie SoRelle

Becky Marie SoRelle, age 66, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her residence.

Per her wishes, her body was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Matt McGowen officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Becky was born on June 28, 1953 in Rotan, Texas to Frankie O. SoRelle, Jr. and Betty Jean (Rogers) SoRelle. Becky grew up on the SoRelle ranch 26 miles North of Rotan. While attending Rotan High School she was very active in sports. She ran track, played basketball, and was a cheerleader. After graduating Rotan High School, she moved to San Angelo where she opened a restaurant with one of her closest friends.

She eventually decided to pursue her love of fashion and moved to Dallas. One of her favorite accomplishments at the beginning of her career was winning a contest at her store for making the most sales. She won a diamond encrusted bumble bee pin which she was always so proud of. She eventually went on to become the manager of a high-end women’s clothing store in North Park Mall. Since then she has been living in west Texas to be close to family.

She is survived by her son, Eric SoRelle of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth SoRelle of Sweetwater, Texas, and Frankie Owen SoRelle, III and wife Beverly of Lubbock, Texas; nieces and nephews, Travis SoRelle and wife Jessica, Amy SoRelle, Sarah Wright and husband Jeff, Emily SoRelle, and Mark SoRelle and wife Pacifica.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie O., Jr. and Betty SoRelle.
