Chad Lee Hazard

Chad Lee Hazard, age 48, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his residence.

A private graveside was held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Sweetwater Cemetery.   Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Chad was born on December 15, 1974 in Abilene, Texas to Jack Nelson and Shirley Jean (Bearden) Hazard.  He was a devoted and loving son and nephew.  He loved his family and he will be truly missed.  

He is survived by two aunts, Sherry Clayton and husband Bruce of Sweetwater, Texas and Deanne Carter and husband Roddy of Weatherford, Texas, and numerous cousins, including Terry Clayton of Bartonville, Texas and his children, Ajay & Jag Clayton, and Gary Hazard of Sweetwater, Texas.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Chris Nelson Hazard.
