Charles Allan McGowan, age 70, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at his residence.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M..
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Santiago officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Charles Allan McGowan was born on May 3, 1953 in Sweetwater, Texas, to Allan Aaron and Nelda Sue (Selmon) McGowan. He married Debbie Jackson on July 5, 1974 in Sweetwater, Texas. He graduated from SHS and also TSTC. He worked for G.E. Wind Energy for many years. He was a Christian.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Keli McGowan Atkins, dad, Allan Aaron McGowan, sister, Teresa Pacilli, in-laws, Ruby and Frank Jackson, sister and brother-in-law, Juanetta Franklin and Jimmy Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Tristan McGowan, Justen Gomez, Korben Cunningham, Brendin Atkins, John Atkins, and Hayden Reeves.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Branscum, and Skyler Baxter.
