Daniel Glenn Johnson

Daniel Glenn Johnson, age 61, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his residence.  

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at  Marqueza Event Center , 301 Oak Street,  Sweetwater, Texas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Daniel was born on September 28, 1959 in Santa Monica, California to William Conlee and Laverne Jean (Carpenter) Johnson.  He married Teresa Rodriguez on April 7, 1983.  He owned and operated Sweetwater Body Shop for many years.  He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Johnson of Sweetwater, Texas, four sons, Matthew Johnson of the U.S. Navy, stationed in Maine, Kevan Johnson of Sweetwater, Texas, Jeremy Henry and wife Jennifer of Abilene, Texas, and Riley Henry of Scottsdale, Arizona, grandchildren, Joshua, Julianna, Jiana Henry, Aylei Henry, Jubei Henry and Ashei Henry, father, William Conlee Johnson of Sweetwater, Texas, sisters, Teri Brown of Euless, Texas, and Mickie Rybacki and husband Sean of Leander, Texas.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laverne Jean Johnson.
