Don Gaylord Andrews

Don Gaylord Andrews, age 71, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Don was born on January 10, 1948 in Lamesa, Texas. He married Jan Summers on October l, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas. He worked as a firefighter for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Andrews of Sweetwater, Texas; mother, Bernice Waldrop of Sweetwater, Texas; daughter, Crystal Williamson and husband Preston of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons, Gregory Andrews and wife Rebecca of Fort Worth, Texas, and James Andrews and wife Allison of North Richland Hills, Texas; step-son, Cody Cox and wife Crisanta of Frisco, Texas; five grandchildren, Reagan, Coleman, Mackynzi, Rhealea and Walker, and aunt, Melba Eitniear.
