Dora L. (Ramon) Beasley

Dora L. Beasley, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.  

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. T. Thornton officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral.  

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  

Dora was born on November 25, 1947 in Sonora, Texas.  She worked as a truck driver, dispatcher, and administrative assistant for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for many years before retiring.  

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Turner of Sweetwater, Texas, sons, John Davila and wife Paula,,  Ezekiel Davila, all of Sweetwater, and Benjie Davila and wife Kendra of Lubbock, Texas, grandchildren, Chessety Turner, Jason Turner, Jasmine Turner, Brittany Lujan, Ariel Lomas, Kimberly Rodriguez, Lucas Davila and Maddox Davila, great grandchildren, Adam Davila, Adrian Davila, Alex Lomas, Layla Lomas, Skyla Lomas, Raiden Davila, Alyssa Lujan, Liam Lujan, Alayah Rodriguez,  Jordyn Wells, and Evelyn Turner, brothers and sisters, Gloria Fritters, Marina Ingram, Nellie McGinley, Sonny Ramon, Abel Ramon, Amy Ramon, and Ramon Ramon, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benito and Juanita (Luna) Ramon, father, Manuel Ramon, mother, Rebecca Martinez, and sister, Irene Sklenarik.  

Pallbearers will be Jason Turner, Adam Davila, Adrian Davila, Rusty Davila, Alex Lomas, and Raiden Davila.
