Earlene Pior, age 97, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 3, 2023 at Garden of Memories with Dr. Michael Harbour officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Earlene was born on October 20, 1925 in Nolan County, Texas to Fred and Myrtle (Childress) Brown. She married Marshall Pior on April 10, 1943 in Baird, Texas. She was a member of Fourth & Elm Church of Christ. She worked for Joe Liner's Dress Shop for many years before retiring. She was also a homemaker and rancher.
She is survived by her son, Neil Pior and wife Tammy of Arlington, Texas, daughter, Sharon Gabler and husband Larry of Wolfforth, Texas, grandchildren, Lyle Gabler and wife Ruby, Allison Berry and husband Craig, Katelyn Weber and husband Jason, Chelsea Pior, Cari Ellis and husband Mitch, step-grandchildren, Dr. Nick Russo, and Elizabeth Russo, great grandchildren, Zack Ellis, Jade Ellis, Hayden Pior, Kenley Gabler, Madisen Gabler, and Camp Berry, and great great grandchildren, Aurora Glasgow, and Eli Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Myrtle Brown, husband, Marshall Pior, daughter, Leigh Byrd, son-in-law, Jerry Byrd, great granddaughter, Alyssa Ellis, great grandson, Jerad Ellis, and brother, Elvin Brown.
