Elmira Ochoa (Ochoa) Collins

Elmira Ochoa Collins, age 77, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas.  

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 5,2021 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Acuna officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 4,2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.    

Elmira was born February 15,1944 in Yorktown, Texas to Augustine and Guadalupe (Cisneros) Ochoa, Sr.  She married Earl Lee Collins on September 3,1976 in Sweetwater, Texas.  She was an apartment manager for Elm Street Apartments for many years.  She was a Christian.  

She is survived by two daughters, Sonya Garcia and husband Oscar of Sweetwater, Texas, and Edwina Mosher of Colorado City, Texas, three sons, Phillip Martinez and wife Renee of Austin, Texas, Daniel Martinez and wife Cindy of Sweetwater, Texas, and Lupe Soliz of Sweetwater, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, three sisters, Nicka Barber of Colorado City, Texas, Mary Share and husband Kenny of Maryneal, Texas, Aurora Rangel of Roscoe, Texas, two brothers, Roy Soliz of Sweetwater, Texas, and Augustine Ochoa, Jr. and wife Diana of Pflugerville, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Guadalupe Ochoa, husband, Earl Lee Collins, brother, Homer Ochoa, and sisters, Hilda Rangel and Angie Ramos.  

Pallbearers will be Pat Ramos, Anselmo Ramos, Jr., Israel Benito Soliz, Izaiah Manuel Limones, Fernando Garcia, and Jon Weems.
