Eugenia M. Guerrero

Eugenia M. Guerrero, age 81, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Sterling Hills Rehab.  

A prayer service will be held 6:30 P.M., Monday, December  28, 2020 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel  with Deacon David Mendez officiating, followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M., recited by Victor Rubio, Jr.   

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Eugenia was born on December 31, 1938 in Nordheim, Texas to Tomas and Maria (Martinez) Guerrero.  She was a resident of Sweetwater, Texas, moving from Arlington, Texas.  She worked as a sales clerk for Walmart for many years before retiring.  She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.  

She is survived by two sisters, Susie Ramirez and Rosa Ortega and husband Tomas , all of Sweetwater, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas & Maria Guerrero, brothers, Francisco Guerrero, Tomas Guerrero, and Gilbert Guerrero and sisters, Juanita Morin and Elisa Soliz.  

Pallbearers will be Junior Jimenez, Robert Soto, Tommy Ortega, Steve Morin, Richard Spicer, and Gilbert Guerrero

Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Ramirez, Joe Ramirez, Moses Tovar, and Freddy Ramirez.
