Eva A. Gonzales

Eva A. Gonzales, age 69, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Sterling Hills Rehab.  

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M..  

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Loran Rule officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Eva was born August 14, 1953 in Sweetwater, Texas to Robert M. and Alice (Alcala) Gonzales.  She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.  She was a lifetime resident of Sweetwater, Texas.  

She is survived by her brother, George A. Gonzales of Lubbock, Texas, nephews and nieces, Alex Gonzales and wife JoAnn of Sweetwater, Texas, Brian Gonzales of Abilene, Texas, Rene' Gonzales of Abilene, Texas, Derek Gonzales and wife Amanda of Sweetwater, Texas and Lisa Gonzales of Sweetwater, Texas,  great nieces and nephews, Mia and Timothy Gonzales, Andrew and Santana Gonzales, Isiaha and Anthony Gongora, Gabriella Townsend, Sebastian, Jacob, Karli and Marcus Gonzales, and Devin and J.P. Gutierrez and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. and Alice Gonzales, brother, Robert A. "Bobby" Gonzales, Jr., and great nephew, Diego Isidro Gonzales.  

Pallbearers will be family members.
