Jason Jay Boyd

Jason Jay Boyd, age 50, of Trent, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene, Texas.  

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Jason was born on December 28, 1972 in Abilene, Texas to Jim and Sherry (Tedford) Boyd.  

He is survived by his wife, Shawna Tanner Boyd of Trent, Texas, two sons, Anthony Montoya and Kyle Browning, both of Abilene, Texas, mother, Sherry Tedford Boyd of Abilene, Texas, brother, Jim Boyd of Aberdeen, Scotland, aunt, Connie Boyd of Abilene, Texas,  cousins, Matthew Tedford of Louisville, Kentucky, and Michael Tedford of San Angelo, Texas, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darleen and Harold Dye of Trent, Texas, and best friend, Matthew Mason of Abilene, Texas.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Boyd, brother, Jarrod Boyd, grandparents, Ray & Helen Tedford, all of Abilene, Texas, and uncle, Ted Tedford.
