Jimmy D. Flint

Jimmy D. Flint, age 70, of Trent, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ollie Wilburn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born on February 8, 1951 in Sweetwater, Texas to Elmer and Carrie Dee (Clark) Flint. He married Carolyn Browning Baker on February 8, 2009 in Sweetwater, Texas. He owned and operated his own construction company and was also a farmer and rancher. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Flint of Trent, Texas, daughter, Tamara Martinez and husband Harry of Roscoe, Texas, son, Todd Flint and wife Angela of Abilene, Texas, grandchildren, Katherine Jackson, Wesley Martinez, Samantha Rodriguez, Jessica Robirds, and Jonathan Flint, eight great grandchildren, sister, Diane Flint Ellison of Hobbs, New Mexico, brother, Sammy A. Flint of Sweetwater, Texas, brother, Jerry W. Flint of Puyallup, Washington, and sister, Mary E. Weatherford of Henderson, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Carrie Flint, and sister, Gladys Alvarez.
