Kaitlin Jeanne (Hix) Rodriguez

Kaitlin Jeanne Rodriguez, age 28, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Roscoe, Texas.

Per her wishes, her body was cremated.  A celebration of the life of Kaitlin Jeanne Rodriguez will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 18, 2021 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ryan Strebeck officiating.  Arrangements are by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Kaitlin was born on May 26, 1992 in Vernon, Texas to Ronald And Kathleen (Reid) Hix. She married Christopher Rodriguez on January 5, 2013 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a Christian and a homemaker.

She loved all of her animals from four cats, three dogs, three turkeys, and a handful of chickens. She took pleaseure in tending to all of her animals, and had a nickname for almost all of them. Her favorite pet, that she loved dearly is a great pyrences named "Sampson", whose nickname is "Bam-Bam."

She was an amazing mother and strived to making sure they had every shoe or item of clothing they could ever want. Toys were also a given. She showered her kids with love and worked towards raising them to show love and kindness to all walks of life.

She was an amazing wife, best friend, partner, and soulmate. She made it a point to make sure her husband was showered in her love. She was very passionate towards her family.

She didn't attend church but she found her own path towards God and grew to love him. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Rodriguez of Sweetwater, Texas, three children, Raelynn Rodriguez, Asher Rodriguez, and Mila Rodriguez, parents, Ronald & Kathleen Hix, of Vernon, Texas, three brothers, Reid Hemlock and wife Alyssa, Gary Hix and Chris Hix, and grandmother, Glynda Butler.
