Krysti (Weems) Medellin

Krysti Medellin, age 38, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Hendrick Hospice Care Center in Abilene, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Daniel Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6:30 - 8:00 P.M..

Krysti was born on June 3, 1979 in El Paso, Texas to Billy and Brenda (Hobson) Weems. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married Raymond Medellin on March 9, 1999 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was an Army wife and true patriot. She loved God, Family and Country and all of her animals.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Medellin, daughter, Maria Medellin, son, Krystipher Medellin, parents, Billy and Brenda Weems,  brother Jon Weems and wife Maria, all of Sweetwater, Texas, sister, Mysti Bryan and husband Huey of Abilene, Texas, grandmother, Willie Hobson of Sweetwater, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Sam & Ragan.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Hobson.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Watson, Chris Thomas, Jon Weems, Jonathan Neri, Daniel Medellin, and Amado Medellin.
