Larry Don Ford, age 72, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Stovall officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 5:30 - 7:00 P.M..
Larry was born on December 18, l948 in Fort Worth, Texas to Virgil Lee and Oleta (Mc Laren) Ford. He married Roseanna Srader on July 12, 1968 in Sweetwater, Texas. He and his wife Roseanna worked for SISD as maintenance engineers for many years before retiring. He was a longtime member of Broadway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Roseanna Ford of Sweetwater, Texas, daughter, Bonnie Oden and husband Dewayne of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Larry Jason Ford of Sweetwater, Texas, grandchildren, Jeremy Oden and wife Tiffany and Megan Oden, great grandchildren, Avery Elizabeth Oden, Raeleigh Noelle Oden, Koby Matthew Oden, and Emeri Jo Dixon, brother, Ken Ford of Sweetwater, Texas, sisters, Carrie Yvonne Burrows and husband John of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Katherine Dinges and husband Kenneth of Cypress, Texas, and Linda Louise Weir of Sabetha, Kansas, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, including Tanya Jerden and husband Charles, Kara White and husband Jimmie, and great nephew, John Lou Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Lee and Oleta Ford, brother-in-law, Mike Weir, sister, Patricia Ford, and cousin, Jerry Lantis.
Pallbearers will be Tony Palma, Eugene Serrano, Matt Polnack, Phil Litton, Andrew Stovall and John Burrows.
